Used Nissan Figaro

Nissan Figaro

The rundown on the Nissan Figaro: it has a 987 cc 4-cylinder engine that boasts of 75 bhp with top speed at 100 mph and 3-speed automatic transmission. These figures just might not be all too impressive when you compare the Figaro to the modern sports cars that you can find in the market these days. However, during its time of production, these figures are already impressive all on their own. The 1-litre petrol engine powers the Figaro, making it essentially a reskinned Micra. A very nice turbocharger has been added to give it that power boost right up to 75 bhp. This can be attributed to its kerb weight of below 1,800 lb. This car does offer a lot of zip when traveling anywhere around the city. This is all done while the car returns excellent fuel economy. Most of the buyers were not really concerned with the technical specifications of the Figaro; they are more concerned about the car’s looks. And this is something that the Figaro can indeed give any interested buyer. Its off-white hood is quite prone to stains and water marks, much like any other white-colored hood would be. Thus, if you are planning to buy a Figaro from any secondhand car market, make sure to check seals because these are indicative of water ingress. Another thing you should look out for are torn poppers. Originally, there were just four colours when the Figaro was released in the market. These colors include topaz mist or beige. Ironically, this color was quite the least preferred when first produced, for at present, this is one of the commanding colors all over the market. Just make sure to check the quality of the repaint on your potential car, especially if it was finished in a non-original color. Specifically, these non-original colors include bright blues and pinks. When it comes to audio equipment, you do get a decent stereo player with the Figaro. However, CDs do bounce when you are on rough tarmac. Oftentimes, there is a need for specialist refurbishment, and this costs a bit on the pocket. As for other storage equipment, such as boot trays, parcel trays, and cup holders, they can be a bit difficult to find in a secondhand market. No worries because you can easily find them all over Internet auction sites. There is no visible used Nissan badge that you can find on the Figaro’s bodywork. You can only get the fleur de lys-like emblem right on your bonnet.
